Washington and Lee University [‘W&L’]

Washington and Lee University [‘W&L’] was founded in 1749 and is the 9th oldest college in the US and is a Liberal Arts college. W&L is a top-ranked and privately funded University and hosts an annual student body of just under 1,900 students. Academically, W&L is a nationally accredited University with undergraduate programs in business and journalism, and a graduate program in Law. The historic campus, is situated in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, and directly in the city of Lexington, Virginia. The campus is situated on 325 acres and is beutiful to walk even if only to enjoy the architecture and adjacency to town – this makes it a destination in and of itself.
