Buena Vista to Floyd, Virginia Loop

Blue Ridge Parkway  [‘BRP’] Tour 3 entails navigating to to Buena Vista, Virginia and then continuing on Route 60 East for a short drive to the entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway (approx. a 15 minute drive) – then take the Blue Ridge Parkway South to Floyd, Virgina. (tip: stop en-route to Floyd in Roanoke if you like, for a small historic city experience, and note that there are a number of other more rustic stops along the parkway as well and if you want to maintain a full parkway experience. Check-out Otters Creek and then head South to Floyd). Floyd has local rides and scenery which are also great as well as a wonderful and walkable downtown with antiques, craft shops, restaurants and bars, and the famous Floyd General Store which is a great place to eat and listen to music (tip: bring snacks and drinks if you plan to stay on the parkway the entire time).
