The Brownsburg Museum is located centrally in Historic Brownsburg, Virginia (diagonally across the street from our B&B) and is a local treasure. The museum is a beautiful country road stop and has held a number of exhibits over the years (e.g. Civil War History, General Store History, etc.). The museum is currently working on a new exhibit which will cover the local area Slave History in partnership with Washington & Lee University. The museum also hosts a number of events annualy; e.g. Christmas and Halloween to name a few. We thank the Museum Board and Volunteers for their excellent work and would definitely recommend that you stop by to check out the latest exhibit. (tip: look-up the Brownsburg History Walking Tour blog on this website and take a self-guided tour of a number of beautiful historic buildings within walking distance of the museum).
